I would like to share a milestone with you – this month marks the start of my 40th year in the practice of law. Over this time I have proudly and aggressively represented victims of medical malpractice who have needlessly suffered from serious injury and wrongful death. I remain committed to achieving full and fair compensation for my clients so that they can rebuild their lives.
Because of my past and present clients’ faith in me, I have been blessed to be able to achieve so much. I am a leading contributor in the area of weight loss surgery malpractice, including Gastric Bypass, Sleeve Gastrectomy, and Lap-Banding, and have lectured about patient safety and preventing malpractice to physicians at Harvard Medical School, hospital risk managers, and insurance executives.
A few years ago I authored a book chapter in the 3rd edition of Medical Malpractice in New York dealing with the cross-examination of the defense medical expert, and I lecture regularly on behalf of the New York State Bar Association.
I have also received a number of recognitions and awards in medical malpractice law, including Best Lawyers in America, Superlawyers, and New Jersey’s Top Legal Minds and Top Rated Lawyers. I led my firm into US News and World Reports’ “Top Tier” for medical malpractice and am one of a handful of lawyers who have been recognized by my peers for excellence on both sides of the Hudson River.
In addition, I am a member of the New York State Trial Lawyers Association (formerly served on the Board of Directors); Association of the Bar of the City of New York (Member: Legal Referral Panel and Medical Malpractice Committee); New York State Bar Association; The Association of Trial Lawyers of America; American Board of Trial Advocates; New York County Lawyers (Member, Medical Malpractice Committee).
I am as passionate about fighting for injured clients as I was in 1974, and with four decades of knowledge and experience guiding me, I happily look forward to working on behalf of you and new clients for many years to come.
Thank you and God bless.
